The fish canning industry is one of the main powerful pillar of the agri-food sector in Morocco. Thus Morocco is the first producer and exporter of canned sardines worldwide.

The canned sardines are rich in vitamins, source of the essential nutrients and having an excellent taste qualities. Also, it can be produced and prepared with different flavours : olive oil, vegeteble oil, chilli oil or tomato sauce.
